Limited Lifetime Warranty
Gerber products specified as 'limited Lifetime warranty' are warranted to the original consumer purchaser, for as long as he or she lives, against defects in materials, manufacture or assembly. Damage due to abuse, misuse or neglect is not covered. Defective products will be repaired, replaced or substituted with the same item or item of equal value. In order to get service under this warranty, send the product with receipt of purchase, prepaid, together with an explanation of the defect, to the address listed below. It is recommended that you insure the defective products to be returned.

One Year Warranty
Gerber products specified as '1 year warranty' are warranted to the original consumer purchaser, for one year from the purchase date. Damage due to abuse, misuse or neglect is not covered. Defective products will be repaired, replaced or substituted with the same item or item of equal value. Gerber will not be responsible for any damages for loss or use of defective products or other consequential or incidental damages. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above exclusion may not apply to you. Battaries are not covered underany warranty issued by Gerber.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
